Couture, dramatically lit.

For Designers & Us, we photographed a collection of couture gowns and eveningwear across a series of dramatic settings — lush tropical gardens, grand chandelier-lit interiors, an underwater scene and a mirrored hallway.

Each setting was matched to the mood of the piece, using light and composition to bring out texture, embellishment and movement. The result is a high-fashion image set that gives every design its own stage.
